E||----------------------|--------------------|------------------------|

My Notes:

a. Start with your finger on the fourth fret D string slide up to
the 9th V7(9) Means to fret at the 7th fret, bend note to equal tone of
9th fret.

b. 10<9-7-<5<4 Means play the 10th fret, slide to 9th, play 7th, slide
to 5th slide to 4th fret. Pause for effect, play the 3rd fret high E string.

My Notes:

a. OK, now here is where everyone is going to disagree, or may be able to
improve on this tab, but in the last bar of the above frame
{7(9)--V7(9)V7(9)7-5} What I'm doing is sort of a Joe Walsh tribute by
playing this similar to the opening riff in "Life's Been Good". On the
recording (based on which you have, it is a bit muddled with multi tracked
guitars.. I play in a 3 piece band), so I have to play it differently,
but in my situation, this works.. Continued below:

E||----------------------|--------------------|------------------------|
B||------------------8~~~|--------------------|------------------------|
G||-----------7--9-------|--------------------|------------------------|
D||--(4)-/-9-------------|--------------------|------------------------|
A||----------------------|--------------------|------------------------|
E||----------------------|--------------------|------------------------|

Seems to me... this should give you a good enough start to get you going
and you can expand it as you do it. This is a live band situation where
I'm playing this and it works for me, and even though I play it all the
time, I still play it a little differnet depending on my mood.

Have fun with it, just as Joe would want us to......
