(Intro & Verse)
The verse is mainly a rhythm played with the Am7, Am6, Am5 and Am chords.
It goes something like this:-
d=down strum u=up strum
d d u u d d u u d u d u d d u u d d u u d u d u
Am7 Am6 Am5 Am
as you play the down strum just before the Am6 chord slide your pinky
from the
third fret to the second. If you listen to the song you'll gather how
its done.
It really is just a case of playing along with the song until you get
a feel for the rhythm.
Play that rhythm through the verse:-
Mama tell you children not to go
Down to the place where the desperate people go
And mama don't you let them stray
They won't find piece of mind in such a lonely place
Next part
Dm G Dm G
Wannabe's and losers all tryin to get a break
C F G Dm
They don't give a damn they'll do whatever it takes
Dm G Em F
If they climb the ladder they get to play for higher stakes
F C Bb F Fsus4 F
Thats why there's low....life in high places
Repeat above for next verse but change from places.. to this:-
Bb F F G
....Life in high places there is low life
Am F G
Like you never even knew there is low life
Dsus4 D Dsus4 G
And it lives in me and you but we don't all let it thru
(Use bar chords for next bit)
(wah wah bit)
A A G A A G A D D C D whacka whacka etc C D C
Dont you let em go
Similar for the rest
Sorry, but thats about as far as I've worked out upto now. You should be
able to
piece it together now. I hope this has given you a start anyway.
