The acoustic part of this song may be played with a capo at the 5th
fret.
It seems uncharacteristic of a Weezer song to be played with a capo, but

I tried it that way and it sounded even better than the open chords.  If

you play it like that, the acoustic chord shapes are Bm, Em, A, D.
The D (that is, the G) doesn't sound right though, so I just assumed
that
the acoustic chords were all open chords.
