A Minute With: Hungarian violinist Kelemen - proud of Roma roots
By Michael Roddy LONDON (Reuters) - Hungarian violinist Barnabas Kelemen has studied with the late virtuoso Isaac Stern and won Gramophone magazine's award for best chamber music CD of 2013, but what he is really proud of is his Roma heritage. Kelemen, who was in London this week to accept the prestigious Gramophone award for his disc of Bartok violin sonatas and to appear with his wife Katalin Kokas in the Kelemen Quartet at Wigmore Hall on Sunday, credits his late Roma violinist grandfather as an inspirational figure in his life. ...
YouTube's music stars to air on Sirius XM radio show

The show called The YouTube 15 will be hosted by Jenna Marbles, one of YouTube's most popular stars whose videos on how to talk to your dog and other snippets from her life drew more than 13 million subscribers to her channel. YouTube's radio show will debut July 11 on the SiriusXM Hits 1 channel, which plays pop, R&B, rock and hip-hop.


Lady Gaga, Eminem to headline first YouTube Music Awards
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Pop singer Lady Gaga and rapper Eminem will be headline performers at the first YouTube Music Awards, the Google Inc-owned online video steaming site said on Tuesday. The November 3 award show in New York, which will be live-streamed, honors the top songs and artists that were viewed on the website in the past year. Independent music labels want EU to intervene in YouTube row
